We will put out a request as we have in the past for uncertainty:
If you or someone you know will be entering Thailand without a visa (visa exempt) tonight after midnight, please share your stamp so we can confirm the 30 vs 60 days.
You can post a photo of it in the comments, or send me a photo in a DM. We're just looking for verification if the changes will in fact be live on the 1st or not.
Thanks
*EDIT
We've received one report of a 30 day stamp after midnight. Awaiting a photo of the stamp and then we'll make a new post about it.
Please note that if we're able to confirm there is no 60 day stamp yet, do not expect anything to change until Tuesday as it's now a holiday weekend. But even then the PM's office said late June or early July, so we'll see.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is gathering confirmations on the current duration of visa exemption stamps upon entry into Thailand, specifically whether travelers are receiving 30 or 60-day stamps starting June 1, 2024. One report has confirmed a 30-day stamp was issued after midnight on the 1st, leading to questions about the impacts on family travel plans and visa extension requirements. The discussions also reference previous changes within the e-visa system.
