DTV does not make you eligible for a Thai bank account.

Owning property might in some bsnks, msybe.

However, bills and taxes can be paid in cash.

But rental income will be more difficult.

Wise might be a option though. Especially if renting out to other foreigners.

The Non-O has a validity of 90 days, which means you have 90 days after it is approved to get to Thailand, where you will be stamped in for 90 days regardless of how long is left of the visas validity.

I don't know the specifics of how long your Embassy/Consulate takes to process applications, so won't comment on that part.

Non-O and extensions of stay based on retirement does not allow you to do work online.

Fixed Deposit Accounts from Kasikorn has slightly higher interest.

Don't know the numbers or how it compares to other banks, but it's higher than regular accounts.

It is multiple entry by default.
