What is the current status of the e-extension for Tourist Visas in Thailand, and what additional documents are required?

Hello!

Has anyone tried doing the e-extension for a Tourist Visa lately?

I searched and saw a previous post mentioning that there were no available bookings for a few months. Is this still the case?

And on the application it says "Additional Documents", but not specifying what those additional documents actually are.

Do they want the TM7 and TM30 here?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discusses the current status of e-extension applications for Tourist Visas in Thailand, noting prior issues with booking availability. Users confirm that an in-person visit to the immigration office is still necessary to obtain the required stamp, and the importance of carrying the TM30 document is debated as some offices ask for it while others do not. Additionally, questions about hiring an agent for the extension reveal that personal attendance remains essential.

Can you hire an agent to do the 30 day extension?

@Frances *******
no, as far as I remember, you can't, you have to do it in person. Even the E-Extension, if approved online, requires your to pick up the stamp personally

No point in doing it online, it cost more money and you still need to go in person and get the stamp in your passport.

I would like to avoid having to go stupidly early and wait for an eternity anyway, and would pay for that convenience .

Or the e-extension?
