you enter the Kingdom of Thailand via the immigration control. He's not entering The Kingdom of Thailand so he doesn't need to fill out a form with lies.

what address should he put for his accommodation in Thailand?

I think fabricating arrival card information is more complicated than telling the truth.

He's not going through immigration so he will not be asked to complete TDAC

Even if you are visiting Thailand and staying in Thailand and you haven't completed TDAC the immigration officer will direct you to fill one out.

I highly recommend learning Thai script. It takes some effort but you will learn the sounds better that way.

I got a book for Thai infants and learned to read and write the Thai "alphabet" that way.

In addition to that, search YouTube for "learn Thai" and follow some of the excellent teachers there.

Also search Facebook/Instagram and follow pages there.

Don't expect to learn overnight. After a few months you should be able to get by in daily life with simple phrases. It took me years to reach intermediate level.

Braulio Escobar why not suggest a visa type if you think a tourist visa is not a proper visa?

It's a common mistake. The visa will get you in and you will be stamped in for 60 days. The visa must be used to enter Thailand within that 90 days.

There are some very small-minded, keyboard warriors here who think they are so superior just because they have this tiny morsel of knowledge.

hi Brandon. I was granted a tourist visa by the London embassy a couple of weeks ago. I'm taking advantage of China's 10-day transit visa so will be arriving BKK from Chengdu.

London embassy asked for my e-tickets.

I sent them the Chengdu to Bangkok ticket but that wasn't enough. They sent a further request for my e-ticket from London to Chengdu.

Once I provided everything, as requested, they issued my tourist visa.

I'm not sure I need the visa for a 2 week trip with a history of regular visits with no extensions but I wanted peace of mind.

3 I visited quite a few times before I learnt that one. Ended up in a spot of bother on that very issue while getting my Thai drivers license in Khon Kaen. That was back in 2016 and the bent Immigration Officer wanted 5,000 off me until our senior police friend intervened whereupon I paid the correct fine of 1,600 (at that time). After that I got my licences OK.
