For now, just reenter, but who knows what they will do in the future. Just look what they just did with ED visa. Now they can check attendance on the ED visa and will cancel if you dont attend. I assume that will happen with softpower in the future

If you try to extend now you will get 7 days. Best is to apply for 60 day tourist visa. But i think you still need to go out of country. Ask an agent like thai nexus, onestop or similar they will help you

I would say no less then a year. But never know when they going to start restricting the rules like they just did with the ED visa demanding that you show that you actually are attending the whole 5 year when your actually in thailand. But for now 1 year is fine

Anonymous participant probably hard to find anyone in hanoi that can translate norwegian. But your bank should be able to. My bank Sparebank 1 translated mine to english for me on request
