Hello!

I wanted to apply for the DTV visa by getting physiotherapy treatments in a clinic in Bangkok… I messaged a few clinics about it and some told me they could write a treatment plan, but one told me they couldn’t give me a letter for immigration because they are a private clinic and not a big hospital.

Is there any truth to this? Have there been cases of people getting refused for the DTV visa for not having their treatments scheduled at a big hospital?

Thank you!

Anyone get a DTV with a medical appointment? A cosmetic procedure I was interested in, is $12,000 in the U.S.. $2500 in BKk. At Bumrungrad. Is Thailand offering DTV visas for single medical treatments? E-visa website in the US a little unclear on the issue.

Thanks

Following all the posts in this group, I have seen some who are not interested or able to register as nomad digital workers to apply for this visa.

Remember there are other alternatives listed as Thai Soft Power Activities

So if you do not work online but want to apply, you can still qualify for the Thailand DTV Visa if you plan to engage in “Thai Soft Power” activities. These include:

Muay Thai courses

Thai cooking courses

Sports training

Medical treatment

Seminars

Music festivals

I have now made contact with a school for this cookery course in the north eastern province of Khon Kaen. Been there with my friend Wanida Somruecha for a meeting and tour of the facilities. This gives a different environment to engaging in this course in a city like Bangkok for instance. It is a small family run business on the outskirts of the city, but easy access to shopping malls, night markets etc. They also offer a mixed dormitory bed included in the price or help find accommodate nearby for 600 baht per night.

Classes are for a max of 5 students so you get the upmost attention to gain that extra knowledge too.

Is it really possible that you could get a DTV just for a teeth cleaning appointment?

Is there anyone who has actually used Medical for their DTV and what specific type Medical did you use?

Medical treatment is listed as a soft power for DTV visa. Should be able to use that for Dentistry. I thought I saw someone say they were using it for teeth cleaning.

I don’t see anything specific listed under “Medical”.

(The consulate requires ask hospital / clinic / medical center to issue a letter confirming medical treatment appointment details)My doctor asked me how the content should be written, because he originally wrote the medical content or the time required in the doctor’s letter

Dentist in BKK or Pattaya. Since Im gonna need receding gums sorting out in a year or two, might be worth using this to get a DTV. Can anyone please recommend a good dentist that they have used to get this grim work undertaken? My dentist in the UK reckons its a no-fun series of treatments. Im back in the Kingdom very soon so can drop in for a review at a suitable dentists and get the related paperwork for a DTV application. Thanks.

Aplogies if this is already been discussed, I am just trying to obtain recent information. From my understanding there is currently no limit on land border crossings? I only ask as I will be undergoing medical treatment in malaysia and will need to do roughly 5 visits over a the course of 3 months. I'm currently on visa exempt 60 days
