Of course you can get a receipt of notification when you report online. You simply can't print it yourself because the part of the system you are allowed to access, doesn't generate one. You need to go to the immigration office to get it.

it means a bank statement showing 6 months of transactions and the money been in the account for 6 months. Wether they accept it being there less than 6 months, is up to them.

Remember if your applying in London, it isn't a same day service. It requires 2 trips. 1 to submit and 1 to collect.

If these Embassys and consulates are not linked yet, and i wouldnt be so certain they aren't, it's not far away. They already said they wanted it in place by June 2018.

I'm guessing spending 10 weeks out of 12, inc the 2 weeks or so out of the country, (Which most rarely do) in Thailand time after time kind of gives it away 😊
