Also, is there a preferred entry point? The obvious entry is BKK but I'm wondering if there's a better airport.

My original reason for my question was to see if I'd be denied a visa. If there's a chance my application will be denied then I'd rather go in on an exemption visa and leave once that expires. But my preference is to stay the 90 days.

- I don't have a new visa yet, was wondering if it was worth applying for one or whether I should save the money and go for 30 day stay with extension.

- Currently in UK, wanting to travel out mid Jan

- intention is to fly in, not land crossing

- tourist visa is the correct one as I don't have intention to work.

So does that just mean a print out of your bank statement with a bank stamp? That way no duration required?
