ok perfect thanks, I am coming in Novemeber with 90 days retirement Non O ( single entry ) I was hoping to get extension of one year year retirement but multiple entry can you get that if you pay extra for the multiple entry. I got to possibly leave thailand for family visit to sick patient in hospital or even possible funeral . Thanks for info much appreciated

to get an extension of stay one year do you need police check , I have a police check when it was first done in 2019 printed certificate , all clear record, I then registered my police check on the online criminal update service this means I can give the info to look at it online only , they won't print another certificate with a new date of 2025 . Cos anyone can view the criminal police check online with my permission this is how our police checks now work in UK ,they have gone digital to stop having to print certificates to save paper and also as lots get stolen in the post which is Causing fraud and copy of Identity .Will my 2019 printed physical copy be accepted or will thailand accept looking at my criminal record online to view it themselves. ( I doubt it )

for me even if they don't ask for criminal check I would still supply them one , cos for me that makes it look good in applying for a visa with no hassle or consequences in the future , maybe it would put me in there good books, they may have a laid back attitude ,but for me things are changing in thialand like the recent banking problems, they are becoming strict to stop the riff raff coming to there country and I don't blame them , if Thailand end up like UK, I will find another place to live , so I do hope they implement more checks , I would not want any of my children in danger if you know what I mean lol

uk Goverments reply : No, once you are registered in the DBS Update Service, you do not get a new physical certificate. The service is designed to keep your single certificate up-to-date online, allowing employers to check its status for free with your consent. You will only receive a new physical certificate if your original one is lost in the post or if a new check is initiated due to a status change. , ( and if my original one is Lost , they will send another but with the date of 2019 on it , which is no good for visa requirements, they want see certificate within last 3 months. Surely thailand dont let in any Tom Dick and Harry with criminal records in , Fred west may as well tried to emigrate to Thaialnd, and maybe they learned there lesson from Garry glitter lol

they will just say the whole point of having the DBS online system , is so anyone can view the certificate, I think the only way Is for me to apply for another DBS certificate the old way, but I just know this is going to confuse uk Gov , and they may end up delete my online certificate, all at my cost yet again I guess. Stupid when I already pay a yearly fee for the service.

some banks may ask for the proof of residence stamped buy embassy for verification. I am just saying what my lawyer has told me to make things easier , but now you are saying this I am going to try and not go to Bkk embassy for the stamp , and see if the Bank accepts it without . Be handy if they do , cos it will save me a days work of going into Bangkok

The Uk E-visa does not ask for insurance on the Non O - 90 days retirement , this is why I went for that one, if you want the yearly one you need insurance + medical + police check , you do not need any of these if your just getting the 90 days non O retirement, `when you get to Thaialnd you then extend to one year, what I need for that, I dont know yet , I do know you need 800k in thai bank , letter or contract of residence .Thai phone number in same residence address and TM30 also being same residence address, UK embassy in BKK to verify your letter of residence with a stamp . After that I got to find out the next stages for the year extension, thats as far as I got for now .

If you applied for visa , cos your over the 60 days , then I would put what you put on the visa. I am connecting Dubai and I put Dubai, as the place where I am boarding to Bkk I also put this on the visa, was all accepted . I would imagine it has to match the visa.I am also coming from UK
