I paid for 90 days non visa o , and got stamp at airport for 89 days , which has messed up my flight back home ,according to them I overstay one-day, does this not look good for thai immigration and future visas. I told embassy date I go home when I get the non O and also put it on TDAC , don't they read things before they do stamp in passport ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about overstaying by one day on a 90-day Non O visa after receiving an airport stamp for 89 days. Various comments clarify that the first day of entry is counted as day one, thus leading to a potential miscalculation of the visa duration. It's emphasized that a one-day overstay is generally not problematic as long as they leave the country before midnight. There is an indication that embassies do not communicate with Thai immigration regarding entry stamps, and the user is advised to understand the rules to avoid future issues.

No issue here- if you leave before midnight technically no overstay

If you don't know the rules, you should study them first. Or ask others, not complaining post about Thai immigration. And also if you leave before midnight will not overstay

Nov 20 - Feb 18

11+31+31+18. = 91

Day counting won't include Nov 20th. Immigration will.

Day you arrive is day 1. So you have probably miscalculated

The first day is day 1, so I'm pretty sure the error in the calculation was yours, not theirs. Also, you could have seen the date on the stamp to change your flight or do something else.

the airline has counted my days , and the insurance for health cover has given me the 90 days, which correspond with my dates .

open a calendar and count the days - when you include November 20th and Feb 18th as days to count, the total days is 91.

if you arrived on the 20th you actually need to put the 19th in Google to get the correct day count. The way you're doing it the 20th isn't counted when it should be

Immigration does not count like this. . . . the day you arrive is day number 1, this day started in the early morning at 0:01am, and the last day is day number 90 when you have to leave Thailand until midnight. You got stamped EXACT 90 days of admitted stay

Correct if you want to know the number of days BETWEEN two dates

But your arrival day is day 1

So, unfortunately the errors is yours

this my dude. You’re confusing “number of days between two dates” with Thai immigration policy which starts on 1, not 0

what the airline or Google say has zero importance. Thailand immigration has its own rules, and day 1 is the day you arrive. Regardless, after you saw the date on the stamp you could have asked or do something, before overstaying.

There is no communication between the embassies that issue visas—where you provide a travel plan—and Immigration regarding your actual entries. The TDAC is merely an electronic arrival card, and providing an intended departure date is optional. When you are stamped in on a 90-day Non O visa, the day you enter counts as day one and the day you leave counts as day ninety.
