You don't say what you are coming in on Michael. Unless you are arriving on an A-O Just expecting to open a bank account is fraught with difficulties.

That only applies to land border entry not air, but be careful, the IO after say 4 entries, might stop you from entering, especially after you've been hanging around Thailand after 180 days.

Unless you are in transit you need to exit pick up your bag off the carousal and reenter. You should remain in transit if you are with the same carrier right through to SUVARNABHUMI. Ask someone if you are not certain.

If you make it to 90 years of age it might become too much to be coming and going. How much will you be paying in Tax and is all this travelling worthwhile and regardless of what's been said we don't even know if or it will happen Yet.
