TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can live with someone in Thailand on a Tourist Visa. Your visa type doesn’t restrict who you can live with, as long as your visa is valid and not expired. The person you are staying with must submit a TM30 form to the immigration authorities within 24 hours of your arrival. It's advisable to check for any specific rules or hotel policies regarding guest registration.

Yes you can I woukd advise to ask them if they can give you a tm30 for when you want to extend..

What you could also do is sign into a hotel for a day and ask them for a tm30 then do your extension. That's one of the loopholes

There’s no moral police 😂. The person with whom you are living will need to submit a TM 30 within 24 hours of your arrival.

You can live with anyone you like, and the person needs to fill a TM.30 address registration on your behalf. You can’t do any work.

Why not? Your visa type has nothing to do with who you can live with.

Correct. I had big time trouble when I did a private visit for a few days when I visited Siberia years ago.

I decided to act stupid, pretending not to understand the language. In the end they stopped the plane from departing and brought me to the plane (already in the takeoff lane) in a military jeep.

Obviously they were soliciting for a bribe but I decided not to give in. That was kinda exciting when I saw the plane already moving from the boarding terminal… 😧
