Hello! I have a NON OA retirement visa and my wife has the trailing spouse visa. Both our visas expire on January 8, 2025. We are both out of Thailand and unable to come back to Thailand before January 8, 2025. Can we renew our NON OA visa outside of Thailand in our country of citizenship (UK , Canada)? Or what are possible options?

TIA

Hello everyone - excellent group for advise. Time for me to ask: my wife and I are coming to retire in Thailand in November. Can anyone recommend Thai Visa Expert as an agent, or can you recommend a worthwhile alternative? Many thanks.

Please can someone confirm a question.

If we retire to Thailand on the 65000bahts per month

Is this for each of us or per married couple instead of the 800,000 baths

Many thanks

Hello all

I have a B-Visa since 15 years with my company.

My wife has a B-Visa (BOI) with the company she work with.

We are married since 3 month.

She would like to quit her job and take some time off so I would like to have her stay under my visa as my spouse.

Any one done it and can share his/her experience ? Mostly looking to know if it can be done within Thailand or not.

Thanks a lot

My husband and I are planning on moving to Thailand for retirement. Should we get visas before we come? Or should we wait until we get there?

My husband (over 50) and I (under 50) are currently in Thailand on an extended exemption visa. My husband wants to apply for the 1 year non O Retirement Visa. He has the funds available.

From what I understand, my husband can apply for his visa from within Thailand (and in doing so, avoid insurance stipulatations).

What type of visa does he need before applying for the Retirement Visa? A 3 month tourist visa? If so... does he need to exit thailand to apply for this visa?

When it is my turn to apply for a trailing spouse visa, it is my understanding that I first need to exit the country to apply for a 3 month visa at an embassy first. Are there only certain countries from where I can apply for this at the embassy?

Thank you so much, I hope my questions are clear

So, we are husband and wifey (that's me) and will need to do 2

X 800000 Baht for bank accounts. From the conversations this year, it appears that this is where we need an agent. I should know this answer but I'll put it out there. That will mean two separate agent fees for 2 bank accounts I suspect?

I have seen a few posts regarding obtaining a trailing spouse non-o in Malaysia....is this possible?

My husband would get a Non-O based on retirement inside Thailand and then we could travel to Penang to obtain a trailing spouse for myself.

Hi Everyone ! My husband is 50 and I am 45, would we be able to apply for the retirement visa? I know I’m under the age, but I’m just wondering if been married plays any role in this regard ? Furthermore would we both have to reflect the 800k in our bank accounts, again does marriage affect this in any way ? Any advice would be lovely thanks so much 🙏🙏
