Sujy Sujaree The Minister responsible has said 60 days is to be reduced to 30 days - he did not give a date for this, but it is going to happen and soon.
The mental health interests me as I do voluntary work in psychiatric hospitals in Chiang Mai - counselling was part of my UK work (Master's in Psychology and founder member of the PTSD group in the old BAC organisation). Find me on Messenger for a chat! I'll leave your requests for Visa etc to the experts. I've retired here - 22 years ago!
There are many silly errors and confusions on that TDAC list of countru-ies - Switzerland is under F (Federation of Swiss etc), there is still East and West germany, Lao is under P (Peoples' Republic etc). Heaven only knows from where they downloaded that antiquated list! But welcome to Thailand!!
Here in Chiang Mai my Will cost 10,000 baht 2 years ago with a Living Will thrown in for free! The first Will cost 20,000 in Bangkok some 15 years ago so 30,000 sounds OK but do shop around.
Expect all kinds of technical difficulties with the banks at this time as new measures to counter money-laundering are being introduced and take time to impact; not all that long ago the sum had to be in the bank for one whole year; another time, after successfully getting your visa, the money had to remain there for a further 3 months and proof was required when reporting 90 days. It is always best to check the latest requirements with Immigration at least a couple of months before visa renewal. I was recently told by Immigration checkers at Chiang Mai that the last statement and bank letter must be no more than 2 days old - I did not verify this inside the office - just ambled to the nearest Bangkok Bank, got another letter and updated my bank book - I already had a queue number so no problem - when the first set of documents were checked by the IO, there was no issue - that original letter was 3 days old (so I never needed the new one, but better to be safe than sorry!)
Always check your passport has been stamped if leaving or entering the Kingdom - on one occasion some years ago as I was leaving the Kingdom at Mae Sai to cross into Myanmar at Takhilek, when I reached the Myanmar immigration office they noticed the lack of a stamp and I had to walk back and reuest it be stamped - the officer just forgot! Always check and look carefully at the date as well - both entering and leaving and also when entering a foreign coutry. as to your question you only report the 90 days within the Kingdom.
