yes as long as you bounce out and back.

Only the extensions cost.

It's the same principle as any multientry visa.

And I suggest anyone thinking about it to apply right away.

**and it's not a large saving, for example a non-o is 2000b fir the original visa then 1900b for yearly renewal.

So for 5 years it's would be

what kind of nonsense are you saying?

There is no such thing as reactivation.

If you leave the country and renter you are simply stamped back in for 180 days. No cost.

It is a "multientry" visa.

To extend incountry for another 180 days, you will have to provide proof of funds and possible ongoing activities.

The fee for the extension is currently set at 10k, it is unclear if this will actually be the case as we are months from anyone extending.
@Stu***
is correct.

I asked this question directly from high ranking officers providing training on the DTV.

It is indeed 10k at this time, as always subject to change in Thailand.

that is the embassies qualifications and has nothing to do with immigration and the Visa once it is approved.

The embassy give the approval based on their own rules.

Thai immigration follows the specs of the visa duration and entry single or multiple etc.

2 different things.

** as stated the only time further qualifications will be needed is if you try and do an extension in country,** otherwise the multientry is just that.

I have been through the immigration training on this visa myself.

Its current configuration is as stated.

I personally believe this visa will change drastically in configuration, Qualifications and implementation in the coming months, but that is an opinion only.

Get it now is my advice to all.
Chris *******
Strangley so far yes, if you get the embassy approval for it.

I strongly feel that there is no way it will last in its current configuration.

But that is only an opinion.

the extension fee for the DTV is 10k for 6 more months.

It is an anomaly in it's fee and will require fund proof again etc.
