Hi

Thanks for sharing this helpful information 🫶🏼 really appreciated 🙏🏻

Regarding the DTV visa if applying for spouses, is a statement on one account with 500,000 baht enough or does each have to have the amount?

Great weekend 🍾

Question: My husband just had his DTV approved. He did the process in China. Can I apply for the DTV as a spouse in Vietnam or does it need to be in the same country where his was issued, in this case China.🧐

Do you have to enter a proposed entry date into the application because I will be applying for mine and if/when it's approved I'll then be apply for my Wife/Spouse DTV then we will both make plans for a date to fly in (from Australia).

Hey all

A little confused! I have a few questions regarding DTV visa.

My husband is appying for the dtv visa, does he need to do a visa run every six months? Or can he just extend? Can he partake in courses? And does this visa allow multiple entry?

Also, If I piggy back of him as a Spouse, can I partake in courses?

Finally we have to proove ££, this would be for the both of us? Or do we need to proove that amount individually?

Thank you!

Two US passport holders. Visited the Yangon embassy on Monday to apply for DTV medical option. No evisa here as others have noted. Made the appointment two weeks ago. Brought along 6 months of bank statements. Foreigner registration and copies of all visas past two years. Photos and the generic visa form. Had appointment details for Bumrungrad specialists for the next 13 months along with stamped signed certificates of diagnosis and treatment plans. Those certificates were very brief and to the point. Not a formal letter. Applied for spouse visa for my wife and brought marriage certificate. All these things were copies. They didn't ask for payment. Told us to come back at 2 pm. Came back and paid, got a receipt and told to return on Wednesday. My wife went back today and picked up everything. The staff were very courteous and as others mentioned wanted to help. They were amazingly efficient as well. We had tons of additional documentation too but they didn't ask for it. Didn't ask for flight ticket or apartment lease. Some local people had up to 8 passports with them. Traffic was very brisk. We've only been in Yangon for two years but know what people are going through. I hope everyone who was there had their visas approved and are able to get out.

Is it possible to get a 30-day extension (without leaving Thailand) for an initial Non-imm O (spouse) visa, in order to buy more time to get other documents ready for the 1-year extension?

I got my non-O visa for 3 months (spouse visa).

how long before it expires should I go back to immigration for an extension?

Should I bring the same documents as the first time and bring my wife along with me?

Hi folk, we will be moving to our house in Chiang Mai in January. I will be applying for a spouse visa for myself.

My question is actually about vehicle insurance, as we will be purchasing a car shortly after arriving. To purchase the car, it will obviously be in the bossladys name, however, she doesn't drive.

Will I be able to tax, and insure the vehicle on a first class policy despite the vehicle being registered to her ?
