Hey everyone,

I've done a search for this already in the group, but the results were a bit dated.

I'm currently in Thailand on a tourist visa, but going to apply for a Non-O visa (spouse visa) in Kuala Lumpur in February. From the info I've gathered, everything is done online now. It recommends applying 2-weeks ahead of the intended travel date to Thailand, but also says you CANNOT apply from within Thailand.

I'm guessing that as soon as I touch down in KL, I should submit my documents. Has anyone done this? If so, how long did it take for them to process your visa?

Thank you! ๐Ÿ™

They inquire about the application process and how long it typically takes to receive the visa. In other words. You can change your visa at your local immigration inside Thailand. But its a timeframe, I just changed mine at Khon kaen immigration

You can apply as soon as you arrive. You can even fill out the application online beforehand, and then submit it with the final information once you arrive. Each embassy should say how long it takes to process. Most embassies in SE Asia have stated 10-15 business days.

You absolutely can convert to a 90 day non-o in country as long as you have enough time left on your stamp.
