I'm seeing to apply for non O in your own Country. I'm seeing apply online. You can set the location of your lap top to anywhere? So why pay for a trip to your native country.
I've done a search for this already in the group, but the results were a bit dated.
I'm currently in Thailand on a tourist visa, but going to apply for a Non-O visa (spouse visa) in Kuala Lumpur in February. From the info I've gathered, everything is done online now. It recommends applying 2-weeks ahead of the intended travel date to Thailand, but also says you CANNOT apply from within Thailand.
I'm guessing that as soon as I touch down in KL, I should submit my documents. Has anyone done this? If so, how long did it take for them to process your visa?
Question: I am a US citizen presently in Thailand. I am a digital nomad. Can I go to Malaysia and apply for the DTV from there? Or do I have to fly all the way back to the USA?
