we already pay indirect taxes in Thailand (at moment of purchase) and it’s no rule that people living in a particular country have to pay income tax, for wage, interest, profit, rent, that was earned in another country (how I did living in Europe and Cambodia while earning income from North America) so please spare us these platitudes
I ve had a bank account since my last long term visa years ago and I still use it every time I come back for vacations. You save thousands of baht on fees and can also pay and withdraw money with a QR code which is very convenient. I am guessing you knew this already, but you are trying to take the piss
This happens every day. As someone who has visited Thailand multiple times since 2001 as an athlete for competitions, tourist and student, and as someone who has no interest on obtaining a long term visa, I still have no idea how many days per year I can spend here visiting on a visa exemption, or TV. So far
4 months seem to work, but still.
I know people will give me bs, that I am not a tourist, etc, but as far as I am concerned I am a tourist, even after so many years, as I do not work in Thailand and I live exclusively in hotels. Any other criteria is subjective
