I have been on a Remote Worker DTV for 5 months.

Immigration didn’t give me the 180-day extension because half of my money is in the U.S. stock market and the other half was not in my Thai bank account for 30 days. All my other documents were fine. I still work for the same company.

I will make a visa run and enter through Bangkok airport.

Is there a high chance they will refuse my entry?

Do they want to see 500,000 THB in my bank account and check that it has been there for 30 days?

Hello everyone basically I had a 60 day Visa on arrival and then extended it. I’m reaching of my 30 day extension and I have booked a flight to Vietnam for a week and then I come back obviously after my 90 days has finished.

I have to leave half my stuff in Thailand, like cameras, drones, expensive equipment. This is because I am unable to purchase additional baggage due to already of reaching the max baggage allowance for the flight.

I have a friend I’m coming back with to spend Christmas time and then going back to Vietnam with the rest of my stuff

However, I am worried that I will be denied entry. I have paid for fast track and I have a Thai person meeting me at my gate when I arrive back to Bangkok however, I am just scared that I will lose all my belongings and get denied entry just so everyone knows as well. This is my first ever time visit in Thailand right now I’ve never been before.

I would want to know does the Visa get reset on 1st January anyway 100%

The people think I will be OK considering it’s my first time in Thailand. What extra precaution should I take to ensure a safe arrival?

Also as for proof of funds does it have to be cash or can it be bank

Hey Guys

Came last year on 4th December with partner and child on the 60 day on arrival visa and ended up extending for the 30 days.

We are arriving back on the 28th November and are planning 60 days again, will I need a tourist visa or will the visa on arrival be ok? We may decide to extend again, will the new rules prevent this and should I apply for a different visa for the 3 of us or as it’s been a year would that be allowed?

Thanks in advance

I have a retirement visa and re entry stamp in my passport but I’m seeing conflicting information about if I need to complete an ETA electronic travel authorisation or a digital entry permit. I’m not even sure if these are the same thing. Can someone who has traveled back to the kingdom please advise me. I’m traveling on a British passport.

I may have to come over for another week or two in September/ October. Would it be safer to apply for tourist visa next time. Planning on doing retirement non O next year

bit worried I applied while in the states, but am sitting on a plane leaving now. my paperwork hasn't been processed and I submit a KUL-KBV trip Jan 13 as entry, none before.

What I'm doing is US to Tunis for a week, then Tunis to KUL. I'm worried they'll ask for more flights, and I'll be able to show them originating in the US after my application - although no longer being there...

Anyone been through something similar, and how did it pan out?

I was planning to return to Thailand with the 60 days upon entry, in February. Now I seem to be reading that Somehow I must return to immigration to show TM 30 or tm something after I arrive? They may be making it too challenging …I would appreciate some clarification upon entry please.

Hi! For those with a DTV visa, were you asked by immigration for an onward/return ticket? Thanks in advance!

If arriving as a tourist to Thailand (from NZ) one can get 60 days + 1 extension = 90 days total. Must one show proof of outgoing flight ticket, and can it be 90 days from arrival? Thankyou in advance.
