thank you for the info. No I have not used my 30 day extension. I am here in Bangkok. I was leaving the country this week for pleasure and to restart the 60 day clock. But I was unable to as I got quite ill. I went to hospital yesterday for treatment but not to stay. So now I must go the 30 day extension route this time. sometimes life gets in the way 🙏🏼
just to clarify. On OA visa, I can enter as many times as I want. If I exit and enter Thailand just before the one year is over, I will be stamped for in an additional year? With insurance proof of course for the 2nd year?
I applied in France. It took 39 days for reply last week. I had already left on my booked flight using 30 day visa exempt. Visa denied as my departure date had past, with a message that the process takes 30-45 days
Thank you for this. My experience on 4 november at Toulouse ticket counter with french passport was as I earlier described. A supervisor for Qatar checked me in and confirmed that for boarding without visa, I needed to show a departure ticket under 30 days. I had one and was allowed to board. She said had I not, I would have been denied boarding.
I can confirm one week ago that Qatar ticket counter in france asked to see my ticket out of Thailand before 30 day visa exempt deadline. (My 60 day visa request did not arrive in time.) Without departure ticket, they do not let you board.
