Retirement extension: every year I try to make a perfect application but every year I am thwarted! Today I had all the documents on the current list. 10 is a Google map of your house with lat and long. No use printing it out and writing on it. No, you need to drop a pin on it to show the lat and long. Fortunately the copy shop near room 103 could do this. Print with north to the top of the paper. Also, the photos of you in front of your house showing the house number should be printed across the page, not full page. I think this is so everything can be understood without rotating any document 90 degrees.

When I picked up the document list a couple of days ago they gave me form 2, form 9 and 11 I think which are for acknowledging that you know the penalties for contravening the terms of your extension.

However, it was effecient and helpful; only an hour from entering the bank for letter and statement until departing Immigration. Collect passport at 4pm next day.

and on that note we're done. Thank you one and all

There are OVER 80 immigration offices in the country, you need to slog on out to your office and get the requirements that office wants.

DO NOT trust documentation requirements from other offices for your extension at your office

That is so weird, the last 2 years I did this myself, and I took the map to my condo and the photos of me outside the condo, and they literally threw it away. Lat and long is that new? Nobody has ever wanted my health insurance either.

Udon Thani still asks for a hand drawn map to the house. (Well they do for me anyway😬)

I'm really happy I don't live there.

Here in Udon Thani none of that nonsense is needed

Wherever Rm 103 is. I do not think that is every immigration office....

Hint: say where so others can make use of the info...

Penned in health insurance requirement out-of-date. Much lower now (unless Phuket still requires it)..

Hmmm, your reference to "Room 103" sounds like you used Phuket Immigration office πŸ™‚

Glad it worked out, thanx for the update..

They are one of the few offices that hold the passport for the extension and you get it back the following day.

REMEMEBER PEOPLE THIS IS ONLY FOR PHUKET πŸ™‚
