1. For the evisa countries, I think so. I can’t apply in vietnam for example, but can in Australia, might change once it’s live. Can put both countries in the evisa site and see. I prefer applying in person personally for such a long visa.
vietnam and Cambodia have switched to evisa, which as far as I understand is locals only, but could test on the evisa site. Taipei people are also saying is good, I just want to check out Jakarta anyway.
I’ve read a good article on laos. People are saying it’s bad, which I think is because so many people are applying. But it has a good setup with photo copiers etc. And can just book again if the first falls through. But not as good feedback as Jakarta and Taipei.
I would have someone check before you send it then. Someone in person for silly mistakes like wrong birthdate etc. Then maybe someone who has applied already if possible
Anonymous participant The issue it would bring up, is that they would have to look more closely to make sure you’re not being paid by a Thai company. Where an international account wouldn’t flag that issue as obviously. So I would personally side towards transferring to an international one, also, because of the tax benefits of not having one I would prefer people all just shut their Thai accounts and switch to Revolut and Wise. But it should be fine, just not ideal would be my feeling.
