TLDR : Answer Summary
To prove your current location for visa applications, you can use various documents depending on your situation. In your home country, acceptable proof includes a driving license or a utility bill. If you're abroad, documents such as hotel receipts, visa or entry stamps in your passport, confirmation of hotel bookings, bank statements, or any official document that includes your name and address may suffice. It's advisable to check with the specific embassy or authority for their requirements to avoid any issues.

Driver’s license with your same address on it

Visa or entry stamp if you're outside your home country. And many embassies seem to ask for hotel booking confirmation.

Lease in Thailand is what I used.

Entry stamp in your passport seems to work, bank statements, bills, anything with your name and address on it. But it depends on the embassy. It's best to email and ask to avoid running into trouble. 🙂

It depends where you are, if you're in your home country then a driving licence or a utility bill can suffice. If you're elsewhere a hotel receipt and/or a stamp in your passport

I used a bank statement. Since I was already sending a bank statement to prove $16,000 balance, I used a statement from a DIFFERENT bank account. Don't know if it matters though.
