Hey everyone, I'm looking to apply for the DTV from the UK later this year using Muay Thai as my soft power.

The general website said 3months of bank statements with the financial evidence but my friend said 6 and as it can vary by embassy, can anyone advise what the London embassy may ask for?

I looked on the website but couldn't find it.

Also how long did yours take to process, I was hoping to apply about a month/6weeks before flying.

What have people been approved for using as proof of current location? I am not on any of the utilities as its a share house

Other than the letter from the gym it says I need proof to attend the activity, does that mean I need to write a confirmation letter or send them a receipt or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance 😊

Hi all,

#applyingfromuk

I’ve started filling out my application but haven’t submitted it yet.

Just two quick questions regarding the requirements:

3. Document indicating current location

Has anyone used an *immigration* *entry stamp* as proof of current location? (This is what I’m planning to use.)

I know some people use a hotel booking confirmation letter, but my company booked a hotel for me in the UK under the company name & details, not mine, so I won’t be able to use that.

4. Financial evidence: Amount no less than 500,000 THB (e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter)

Most of my funds are in crypto, and I recently converted some to GBP around £12,000 and transferred it to my main bank account.

My question is: when submitting 3 months of bank statements, will it be a problem that the required amount only started showing in the last few days?

I plan to submit my P60 or a few payslips from my company as well (if there’s an option to upload more than 5 supporting documents).

*Which leads to another question: is there an option to submit more than 5 documents under the supporting documents section?*

Thanks in advance!

When entering Indonesia, they didn't stamp my passport. Instead, they issued a digital entry document. Is this what I use as the "document indicating current location" for the DTV application? Thanks.

To those of you who have successfully applied for the soft power option of the DTV what did you provide as proof of "Document indicating current location"? In the past for Tourist eVisa applications I have provided an electricity or water bill.

Hi all!

I am planning to apply for DTV and would appreciate your advice 😊

1. Does anyone have experience embassy in Ankara? I read a few posts here mentioning “name does not match” issue when application was declined.

Are there any additional documents they typically request aside of regular list?

2. I have had non-b visa before in Thailand. Until the first week of April, before I started my new job, might this be an issue? Do you suggest to explain and submit cover letter also?

3. What could be the proof of current location while being in home country?

Many thanks in advance!

We are UK citizens applying for 60 day tourist visas through the E Visa system and it’s asking for proof of current location. Do I even have to show proof of current location for my children?

Good morning! DTV questions:

1) Do you *have* to apply within your home country? For digital nomads, it doesn’t seem to make sense as most don’t live in their home country. 😅

2) What is considered “proof of current location”?
