Hello everyone,

I’m preparing my visa application for Thailand and I have a question about the required documents.

I understand that:

* Point 4 requires the flight ticket/travel booking confirmation.

* Point 5 asks for proof of accommodation in Thailand, such as hotel bookings or an invitation letter from family/friends.

However, I’m unclear about Point 3, which states: “Document indicating current location.” What kind of document is needed for this? Would it be proof of residence, a utility bill, or something else?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We are UK citizens applying for 60 day tourist visas through the E Visa system and it’s asking for proof of current location. Do I even have to show proof of current location for my children?

Good morning! DTV questions:

1) Do you *have* to apply within your home country? For digital nomads, it doesn’t seem to make sense as most don’t live in their home country. 😅

2) What is considered “proof of current location”?

Hello. I am applying for a tourist visa to enter Thailand and I am unsure if the "document indicating current location" (as they call it in the form) should be my home country's bank statement, because it's in Portuguese and it doesn't state the country name.

I know a lot of people use a simple utility bill, but I am constantly moving and don't have utility bills. I am assuming those should have the same issue (being printed in native language and no stating the country name), but I thought I would ask for feedback anyway, as it would be annoying to pay $50 (or whatever it is they charge) and have the request declined.

Thank you.
