You would have to bare minimum leave to activate it. Personally I wouldn’t do it.

Where are you going? Hanoi switches to evisa from tomorrow as far as I understand, can we apply online? As I tried putting ‘in vietnam’ and ‘from Australia’ and didn’t work

Yeah, we have to remember it’s a person in front of you, not paid on performance so don’t ‘really’ care if you’re approved or not either way. So our goal needs to be to make their life as easy as possible. Not ‘wow’ them.

The requirements don’t say bank statements of 6 months, so there has to be an internal reason, which I suspect is as a means to weed out genuine fraud like someone applying with a false deposit and job and as an excuse to then reject them.

So if they say 6 months bank statements, just print of 6 months bank statements. If it has just the balances and missing the transactions the officer will be like: “🤦‍♂️ Omg, just print off the entire thing”. Just being ‘annoying’ like that will lower your chance of being approved.

So either both or full transactions. Do what is asked. As they don’t care.

I agree with the sentiment totally. Is a 5 years visa people were paying 900,000 baht for only 6 months ago, so worth a little extra to make sure it’s done.
