Anonymous participant The issue it would bring up, is that they would have to look more closely to make sure you’re not being paid by a Thai company. Where an international account wouldn’t flag that issue as obviously. So I would personally side towards transferring to an international one, also, because of the tax benefits of not having one I would prefer people all just shut their Thai accounts and switch to Revolut and Wise. But it should be fine, just not ideal would be my feeling.
I would side towards yes. Is weird some ask for a rental contract in Thailand when it’s ‘for’ Thailand. I would guess an international one is better, but haven’t heard anyone have a problem with Thai bank.
