Has anyone been approved for a spouse DTV visa in Indonesia? If so, how long did it take to process? My husband was just approved in Indonesia for DTV and it took about a month. I was planning to apply for spouse visa but our visa agent is saying the spouse visa will also take another month! Curious to hear anyone else's experience with this. Thanks!

This is all new and overwhelming to me. I'm retired with a monthly pension and now recently started receiving my retirement benefits six months ago. I need help because it so much different information out here about visa.

I don't know which one I should apply for. I won't have the $25k until my house is sold. But with my pension and retirement benefits I have the $2065 monthly going into my bank account.

I've research and watch so many videos but still not sure what I should get prepared to do. I read that I need both the monthly amount and the $25k and then I read it's either one or the other.

Any information would be appreciated as I have tried really hard to understand the process to get started.

Has anyone applied with a British or Irish passport recently from a SE Asian country and been approved ?

I have been away from from the Uk for two years and was advised by an agent to apply from my home country due to my passports.

I called an agent yesterday to assist with the DTV Visa. I told them we were both over 50 both with internet jobs. They told me not to go with the DTV visa to go with the retirement Visa. They said it would be cheaper for us. What do you all think about it. We want to retire there. Thanks for your input. Have a great evening

I'm currently on a 1 year ED visa, and I was just about to go and get my last 3 months extension. Upon checking with my visa agent today, I was informed that I would not get the 3 months extension, but rather an extension up to the date of my previous entry. I have entered the country early December last year so in other words, they are saying I would only get a few days for this last extension, not the 3 months I was hoping for. Can anybody please advise on this? Thanks

I need expert advice please: my wife and I are going to get a retirement visa. I've deposited the required sum in the bank. Now I have to wait two months (May 16th).

We are on a 30 day extension that expires April 15th. I need to go to KL to close out a bank account there, long story but my card stopped working and my money is tied up. No access to the website either.

Would I be able to fly to KL and apply for a 60 day visa? So I can stay longer and avoid more border hops, or is it not worth it? Has anyone done this in KL and how many nights would I have to stay there? TIA

I need a valid opinion about this.

My wife was here on ED visa. She still could have renew it for 3 other months. But as we were married that year, 2021, the visa agent said better to get her on my retirement visa.

So they arranged that got stamp from Chonburi immigration. All good

Until we traveled to Europe, and when came back, had problem at airport immigration.

What we did not know, was that immigration should not have allowed to convert the visa, without she left the country and come back on tourist first.

Now, as I convinced, that there was not bad intention of our part, she was allowed back in.

But what is going to happen next time? Now she went out and came back in, will the problem be solved? Or will she risk every time to be denied? Also we need to extend our retirement visa in July...

quick review and a small point.

just did my non O visa based on retirement in Lamphun.

in and out in 15 mins.

very professional, polite and fast.10/10

Nothing like my experience in Samut Prakan for the previous 20 years.

and my small point is don't pay an agent to do this unless you can't fill in a couple of forms for yourself and a visit to the bank.
