What are people's experiences with the Thai Visa Centre for obtaining a retirement visa?

The Thai Visa Centre, a popular agency for retirement visas in Thailand, has drawn mixed reviews from users. While many customers praise their professionalism, efficiency, and responsive customer service, citing successful experiences with obtaining visas swiftly and without much hassle, others reported dissatisfaction with frequent price increases and the overall cost. Several users mentioned they were pleased with the convenience provided, such as document pickup and assistance given throughout the process, while some questioned whether using an agency is necessary, suggesting that a DIY approach is equally valid and more economical for those willing to navigate the visa application process themselves.
