I would suggest contacting customer service and explain the circumstances and see if they can provide a letter confirming your current account details with their signature.

If they can’t, then write a formal letter to the consulate expressing this is an online bank with no branches. I would state that you contacted customer service and the only thing you can provide are the PDF statements, take some screenshots of your mobile app showing your account, and print out anything you can find on their website giving detailing more about Revolut and hope it works 🤞

I’m not familiar with Revolut bank, but if they have a branch, you can request a statement and the teller can stamp that statement showing it’s official.

The other alternative is requesting a letter from your bank which contains your identifying information, account number, current balance etc.

Also check, is the address on your bank statement(s) consistent with the other documentation you provided for your application?

What was the verbiage of your remote work letter? Did it specifically say “can work in Thailand?” Or was it a generic explanation?

You can consider going to Philippines, Laos, or Indonesia and apply from there. I believe they’re easier and should only be 3 months.

So I’ve done some research and LA consulate can be stricter on the wording of your remote work letter. I see that Manila and Jakarta consulate is much more relaxed when it comes to that, so I may fly to Manila and apply from there since I have a few friends that have been successful getting the DTV from there.

Appreciate the heads up on this.

Have you’ve heard of people having to get a letter like this?

I doubt my employer will write a letter specifically stating I can work internationally.
