Any Canadians in the forum. I just uploaded last 6 months of TD Bank....looks like they actually need 500k current balance.

What is the other document - business registration of the employer?

I already got a letter from my employer and submitted it. They sent this message to me again.

Are visa runs being cracked down on or was I unlucky? Do I need to start considering long-term visas instead of visa-running?

I wanna share my recent visa-run experience with a visa run at DMK airport (I was in Vietnam from Aug 7 to Aug 13 2023.) I arrived around 12:20am on Aug 13 and the lines were quite empty. The IO questioned my purpose for my visa-exempt and extension stamps. I've had 2 visa-exempt entries with 2 extensions for each of them. When I told her "tourism" she questioned if this was really true and asked for a friend's contact and phone number. I told her I don't have my friend's phone number now but I have her Line. Maybe I should have just given it to her. She wasn't satisfied by this and transferred me to other officers to be questioned. These officers asked me personal questions such as where I live, when I'm leaving and showed me a handout that said I shouldn't be doing visa runs anymore. I told him I was following all the rules and never overstayed. He gave me the 30 days visa-exempt stamp anyways and told me to get a long-term visa. He also seemed to be typing some notes after he issued my 30 days.

So do i need to worry about doing visa runs in the future? Or was it just a stroke of bad luck? Do I need to start considering long-term visas? I'm Canadian (if that matters)

My husband and I are Canadians and are in Thailand on a 6 month multi entry visa. We know we need to leave Thailand and re-enter every 60 days to receive another 60 day stamp in our passport. We have a couple of questions that need clarification…

1. Can we leave and re-enter at a land border or does it need to be at an airport immigration?

2. If it’s ok to leave and re-enter by land, can we use Myawaddy border crossing and receive 60 day using our multi entry visa?

3. Is it necessary to visit a Thai consulate/ embassy at country outside, then re enter on our multi entry visa?

I thought I understood this visa…that we had 60 days in Thailand, visit another country and receive another 60 days on return, for the validity of the visa (6 months). However…friends have said different so I thought I should check.

Hi Group. I’ll be in Thailand for 25 days on a 45 day tourist visa, then considering going to Malaysia for 5 days.

I’m Canadian

Going to fly Thai Airways out of Suvarnabhumi Airport

When I come back to Thailand do I get another 45 day stamp?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I entered with a TR 60 visa on Nov 26 as a Canadian. I'm looking to stay as long as possible. Is my only possible extension the 30 day one? Is there a covid extension? If so when can I apply for it?

We wAnt to travel and be spontaneous rather than be locked in to 3 months of stays at places booked sight unseen. Thanks in advance for any help.
