Had the same issue earlier this year. Arrived on a 90-day non-O and went to Jomtien immigration office to get a residence certificate in order to open a bank account. They asked for all of the documents you mentioned but I could only present the rental contract. Gave up. Moved condo and will try again next winter with a new landlord

@Paul ******
if you are not going until September then don’t apply until August. As an added bonus things may be clearer then

unless you have a small boat.,.

I am looking for similar. Single-trip policies are very expensive. I found an annual policy with LV that would cover 90 days but if you include flights my trip would be 92. They refused. This means only single-trip possible and the cheapest quotes I have found for 92 days are around £300.

I have done exactly the same. For 20,000 baht WU is cheaper.

@Rene *****
which is why I said the length of time requested rather than 90 days - unless he applied for a non-O (in which case the price seems low)

Those dates are between when you must enter Thailand; not the dates of your stay. You have the visa for the length of time you requested.

I was in a uk bank this morning pre-warning them I wanted a large amount of cash in unmarked notes next month for Thailand. Actually this had not been so much of a problem since we switched to plastic notes, but the bank said they would no longer check the condition but that I must do it and then take any unsatisfactory notes back to change

the problem with multitrip ( I am currently with them) is that they will not cover for more than 60 days per trip
