It was one year extension of stay for retirement.

My extension of stay expires on 8 September.

I provided no documentation other than my passport, an income statutory declaration, and a completed form when I received the current extension of stay via a "visa agent" from the chonburi office.

There was no school involved as my ED visa was granted for the purposes of obtaining scuba diving certifications.

Interesting...

I went from a 1 year ED visa to a qualifying visa and with it a yearly retirement extension without leaving the country...

Done thru a visa agent and chonburi immigration last August

Charlotte Kosaseang same here. Is been questioned on visa exempt (Australia) and it was said I needed to get a visa next time..
