Hi guys, im about to follow my boyfriend in thailand. I work remotely for a chinese company who pays me on France. Is the dtv doable in my case ? What if within the 5 years dtv you stop freelancing ? Thanks !!
I am self employed in Germany and have a "company registration" (Gewerbeschein). As far as i understood everything, i should be eligible to apply for a DTV. Does anyone know if it might be possible for me to hire my partner on a small income (450€ Minijob) to make her also eligible to apply for a DTV?
Hello, I would like to know what is my best option do have a DTV ?
I am 30yo, do not have a work but have ~52 000 baht "income" everymonth.
Should I contact visa agency about my case ? I read many things on internet... dtv visa with muay thai... dtv with cooking lessons... dtv with dental treatment...
I really need a DTV visa because I almost got denied at the border ( too much visa exemption ) and I would like to live at least 50%/50% my country and thailand for my life.
About the other requirement, I have enough in my bank to meet their needs.
I'm on O visa now 800k route last 2 years. Last year sent 66k month but after extended I took 800k out instead leave 3 months. Thinking let visa expire. Then apply new O visa on 65k route. New application need be 800k first or is 12 months 65k route accepted? Reason for let expire is I'm leaving Thailand for 3 months and renewal date later in year suits me better. Thanks
Hi! My non-o marriage visa will expire on 7.12.24 and until now, I had no idea I can just extend it without leaving Thailand!
Is there a time limit for the extention? And as I understand from other posts, every immigration office has their own rules? I'm going to visit the one in Sriracha tomorrow. Please give me a few advices before I go there😅🙏
Hi I have a question about the Non-immigrant OA Visa (from my country). If I submit application whist still working (full-time) and declare full time salary on form, then retire a month or 2 later then travel to thailand does this affect visa during the 1 year period. My transfer to superannuation income from full time income will still be well above the 65,000BHT minimum. I will then transfer to retirement visa at end of 1 year period.
I am currently on a Non O visa with retirement extension. I have the required 800,000 in the bank to qualify.
My Visa was renewed on 24 June 2020.
I want to withdraw 400,000 to buy a vehicle. That will leave 400,000 in the bank. To renew my visa in June 2021, I believe I will have to show 12 monthly payments going back to June 2020, that will demonstrate I have an income plus savings that will equate to 800,000 baht.
That would be approx 33,333 baht per month over the 12 month period. Does that mean it has to average out over the 12 payments or is it strictly a minimum of 33.333 baht or more per month. My problem is that in July I only transferred 31,000 baht but generally I will exceed the 33,333 baht by at least 2 or 3 thousand per month.
