Lodged a TM30 at Phuket Immigration via the drive thru this morning (15th), a few days late given my return from Malaysia to Phuket was on the 11th. The residence being registered was the same as previously registered.

Used the approach exactly as suggested by Todd in his post a few day ago to complete the form, as I could not get my landlord to sign it this time (he was away). Also I didn’t have a signed Power of Attorney from him this time, tho I had lodged one back in December 2018 that has been signed by him.

Outcome was very pleasing.

No questions.

No problems.

No fine (for late lodgement).

2-3 minutes and I was done and gone.

Passport returned with existing address slip signed and dated as being updated at drive thru...

Was I just lucky?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully lodged a TM30 form at Phuket Immigration via the drive-thru without a signed Power of Attorney from their landlord, who was away. They previously submitted one in December 2018. Despite being a few days late, there were no issues, fines, or questions during the process, taking only 2-3 minutes, and they received a signed and dated address slip upon completion.
