TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, there is an immigration office in Surat Thani where you can apply for a Covid extension. The office is generally described as friendly and not very busy. It's located in Kanchanadid, and it's noted that the issuance of a Covid extension should not be a problem if you meet the necessary criteria.

I don’t know the office but almost certainly they’ll issue a covid extension there if you meet the criteria.

, hmm, I've been to some that will not process covid extensions, like the one in Prachuap Kiri Khan, is why I'm asking. I'd like to hear from someone who has been to that office, but I'm likely asking too much, eh? Thanks.

They have an immigration office there. Depends on the time of day as to whether it will be “full” 😀

, thanks, I'm used to waiting, so that's cool. Last time, I stayed in Prachuap Kiri Khan, and had to take an entire day-trip, (3 times!) up to Hau Hin. Not something I want to do again.
