the white licence plate is only issued to the dealership once they 'officially' register the bike with the DLT.

Since that is a cost in cashflow for the dealership please appreciate it that they are in no rush to part with money.

Stay on their case, and hot them up for their lack of customer service that cost you an extra residency certificate.

done it with both my Wise card early on and the other day at SCB.

they normally only set up account for max. 20k - just ask staff to assist with changing limits.

service at times a bit how ya going

when account was first opened they activated passbook but not ATM card, FFS.

I prefer the SCB app over the Kasikorn app.

can withdraw 30k at SCB ATM but only 20k at Kasikorn.

Kasikorn easiest for 12 month statement for immigration.

I transfer monthly my minimum 65k into Kasikorn then transfer most out to SCB for daily use.

300 baht monthly prepaid includes calls and internet.

texts are extra hence Thai's utilize the line app for that.

The chicken and egg scenario can be dealt with while in Thailand with the help of a good wing man , as in, - a visa agent.

Otherwise, apply from outside Thailand.
