5 years ago I had immigration at phuket airport ask why I had so many entries. Had 6 at that point and was told cant have more than 6 per year. With my work I had to do visa runs quite often. But normally they are quite easy going if you are polite.

My Thai wife has just got her UK Visa as we also have wedding in Dublin. We found that if you enter UK first you don't need visa for Republic of Ireland as Bob has said.

Deemoney also but not sure if they offer cards etc

Curious as to why is was deactivated.

no you won't. But the landlord is the one that needs to fill in the details. So for condo tenants it can be a struggle to get them to do sometimes. There was a petition to stop it last year for private residences but haven't heard anymore of it.

correct. Landlords responsibility. No fines if done late. But when they do it can only back date 24hrs. We faced this when I went for non-o visa extension. Had been on road trip months prior and of the 20+ hotels we stayed only 1 reported it and when we returned and applied extension they asked we resubmit luckily the "landlord" is my wife so could do it on the spot.

Any branch can do it. I have got the letter twice from branch closer to where I drive for immigration. 5 min and done. Need banknote and passport and they will issue for you. 200thb

correct. I spoke to immigration about it as wanted to fly home for surprise birthday but was told I can't while under consideration. As would void visa application.
