My bank, Bangkok Bank, will provide me a letter to give to immigration to verify that I have completed the required deposits.
I called a local branch in Pattaya and was told thay can provide this letter but that I must go back to my branch in Bangkok to get my letter.
My question is: does anyone know if this is true or not?
I must go to Bangkok twice once to submit request and again to pick up letter.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster was informed by Bangkok Bank that they must return to their branch in Bangkok twice to obtain a letter for immigration verification of required deposits. However, numerous comments suggest otherwise, indicating that any branch of Bangkok Bank can issue such a letter, often on the spot for a fee of around 100-200 THB. Several users recommend visiting branches that are conveniently located near immigration offices to handle the process in one visit.
