I have no ideas what’s the relationship between the embassy and my Thai address. How can they certify? Visit my home? Illogical. I have Thai driving license, I can have the residence certificate by Immigration office but they insist that embassy certificate. Why just a bank required more than Thai Immigration office? I really don’t understand. So, I cancelled the accounts and took all money to other bank.

Grant Johnson you are lucky can reopen your account with only Tourist visa.

yes I know, they only accept the residence address certificate by Embassy. They said it is new bank rule.
