One way ticket is no problem with DTV. I have already entered 3 times on DTV with one way ticket

I applied online via Danish Embassy while I was in US for work. Got approved within 24 hrs. I did make proof of address in Denmark though. No flight tickets needed

Just get the cheapest flight in/out of Malaysia, Vietnam or Cambodia. Immigration officers are more relaxed when arriving internationally by air. And try stay for at least a couple days in whatever country you go to - then you should be safe

Interesting. I have travelled at least 30 times to Thailand on a one-way ticket (visa-exempt) in the past and never been asked by immigration.

0 THB in bank account, I think it's important to make a straight forward portfolio of your work that looks professional like make it in one pdf file with recent income etc. This visa is all about getting people to Thailand who have money to spend in Thailand
