Hi, I’m moving to Thailand in January on a DTV. I’m purchasing a one-way ticket because I’m from the United States, but my family lives in other countries so I won’t be returning back for quite a while. My Visa company said do not worry about a one-way ticket. That’s not an issue even though I have read differently. I also have a friend that’s been on the DTV for about five months and has not had an issue with the one-way ticket. Either wanted to know if anybody else has advice or experience with this thank you so much.

Urgent! I have the DTV, can I enter with one way ticket or I need return ticket as well?

Hello, first time posting. I never been to Thailand so all this is a learning process. I bought a one way ticket to Thailand and plan to use miles to come home to USA. My question is , I know we get 60 days and a 30 day extension. I don't know how long I am staying. May be 30, 60 or 90 days. Do I need a return trip to enter? And if so is it best to set it for 60 days or 90 days? What's my best way to handle this? Like I said, I am new to all this. Any advise is appreciated.

Currently awaiting DTV visa approval in LA, I seek guidance on ticket requirements for travel to Thailand. Considering my indefinite departure date and need for multiple country exits and re-entries, is it mandatory I secure a round-trip or one-way ticket?

Can you buy a one way ticket to BKK when you have a DTV?

More specifically, will the airline be funny and question you for only buying a one way ticket?

I read this is a possibility for tourist visas so figured I'd ask.

I’m travelling to Thailand next month with my Thai wife and son . We are staying 6 months and I know all the visa side of it. Now the question is - I’m travelling On a one way ticket and have done many times before but I’m also hearing that the airline can refuse you as you don’t have a ticket to return or onwards to anywhere else.

Will I be ok with a one way ticket into Thailand than get a bus to ticket to  Cambodia or will I have  problem at the airport? Cheers

Hi, my daughter is coming the thailand on a one way ticket because she is going to travel Asia but not sure whether she’s going to Malaysia or Goa depending on when her friends are there. My partner and I came on one way tickets as we’ve moved here and had no problem but I know they’re getting more strict and wondered if she will get asked to show a ticket out of thailand or questioned at immigration now? Has anyone recently checked in at the Qatar Airways desk at Heathrow for a flight to Bangkok with a one way ticket?? If so, were they requiring a return ticket? How did you get around that problem?

Thank Group for all the great info here. My First Question: I am waiting for final approval of my LTR Visa. Am I going to be ok with a one way ticket from US to Thailand? The airlines have checked for a round trip ticket at the beginning of my last two Thailand visits.
