As was only a concept idea of a Thailand ETA was only a proposal, there is now no more Thailand ETA
This is also stated in a writtem report signed by the Thai Foreign Minister to the Thai Cabinet, which mentions that the new TDAC that started since 01 May 2025 replaces that proposed concept which was a Thailand ETA
a LTR E–Visa PDF File from a Thai Embassy/Thai Consulate outside Thailand and an ink stamp Visa from TISEC in Bangkok are the same where both have a 5 years stay permit, but the LTR Visa is valid 10 years
Personally, I would say to go ahead and get your Thai LTR—P E–Visa from any Thai Embassy/Thai Consulate outside Thailand via the Thai eVisa Website as a PDF File rather than an ink stamp in your Passport from TISEC in Bangkok
in case anything happens to your Passport, then at least less hassle about your LTR—P E–Visa PDF File
