Do we need to really be in Malaysia to start the eVisa process ? Or can we do it from thailand online, and then fly in and out of Malaysia to activate it ?

 it'd be for malayz too, because once they go online with the eVisa system everyone would apply thru the eVisa portal.

It's not even activated yet for Malaysia <-that happens on the 8th
