ORIGINAL POSTER
Since the Thai Consulate in Sydney and also the Thai Embassy in Canberra switched to the Thai E–Visa system (Thai eVisa Website) since 19 March 2024, does the Thai Consulate in Sydney still accept 3 Million Thai Baht equivalent in an Australian Bank Account, or, is the situation now like all the other Thai Embassies and Thai Consulates in that the 3 Million Thai Baht would have to be in a Thai Bank Account for the 10 Year Non O–X E–Visa at the Thai Consulate in Sydney??

TLDR : Answer Summary
With the transition to the Thai E-Visa system at the Thai Consulate in Sydney as of 19 March 2024, there are inquiries about whether the requirement for displaying 3 million Thai Baht can still be met through an Australian bank account or if it must now be held in a Thai bank account. Current reports indicate that the consulate continues to accept the 3 million Baht equivalent in foreign bank accounts.
