10-15 working days, who is going to use that? Just bounce and get 60 days, wtf?

So it's obviously a better option to use the in person service that is now? It takes only 2-3 days from application time

Umm, people that need an actual visa. Not everyone just wants a 60 day visa exempt. That's the whole point of embassies?

In additional to the 100+ countries that are not even eligible for visa exempt.

Who is going to stay 10-15 days in Laos? It's a scheme for people to only use agent from now on. I have to explain the obvious.

People can freely choose where they want to go get a Thai Visa.

Perhaps, not just only come to Laos only for a Thai Visa, but also visit and tour Laos.

There are many reasons that people do not use the 60 days visa exemption, but need a Thai Visa:

DTV Visa,

Non-B Visa,

Non-O Visa that they decide not to get inside Thailand (or unable to).

You can also include Non-OA and all the other Thai Visas that cannot be obtained in-country....

the processing time listed on most Thai embassy sites around the world is 15 business days. How is that a scheme that they are now going to be like the rest of the Thai embassies?
