What's the latest updates on the land borders with Cambodia?

Are there 3rd Country Passport crossing/using those Borders and are they able to get the full 60–Day Visa Exempt Stamp?

It seems that there are limits to specifically: Cambodia Passports making an overland crossing into Thailand only at the land borders which will get limited to 7 Days Stay (Visa Exempt Stamp), but if Cambodia Passports make Entry into Thailand via air at an Airport, then they still get the full 60 Days (Visa Exempt Stamp) and the same seems to apply for Thai Passports into Cambodia

Again, the question is about other foreign passports, but, personally, i would just use the land borders with Laos at this time

Also, it is important to note the change in operating hours (when land borders open and close) for the land borders with Cambodia at this time

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent updates indicate that Cambodian passport holders are limited to a 7-day stay when crossing into Thailand via land borders, whereas an entry by air still allows a full 60-day visa-exempt stamp. Other foreign passport holders retain the option to cross without issues. However, it is advisable to avoid the Cambodian borders due to restricted operating hours and a crackdown on visa exemptions. Currently, land borders like Ban Laem and Ban Pakard in Chanthaburi have adjusted hours, opening later than before.

What this post has to do with DTV?

Wiki shows there are SEVEN permanent border crossings between Cambodia and Thailand

1 - Choam/Chong Sa-ngam, Sisaket

2 - O Smach/Chong Chom, Surin

3 - Poipet/Aranyaprathet, Sa Kaeo

4 - Phnom Dei/Ban Khao Din, Sa Kaeo

5 - Duang/Ban Laem, Chanthaburi

6 - Phsar Prum/Ban Pakard, Chanthaburi

7 - Cham Yeam/Ban Hat Lek, Trat

Cambodian passport only allows to stay 7 days now.

Totally open, no issue at all for foreigners to bounce out/back (other than the typical issues people bouncing themselves at the cambo borders have faced in the past)

Ban Laem and Ban Pakard in Chanthaburi province open later than normal. They used to open at 6am - 10PM <(really until about 9PM)

BUT

Now with the "disagreement" going on the thai side opens at 8AM and the Cambo side opens at 9AM <- meaning that's the soonest you can get out of thailand into cambodia 🙂

3 but the 3rd is for trucks mainly to relieve the Khlong Luek/Poipet crossing which used to have trucks queued for many kilometres waiting to cross

Ban Khao Din/Phnom Dei has been reported as an easy crossing and good to hear you have had that same experience there.

it's probably because it's in the middle of Nakhon Nowhere up in Sa Kaeo province 😛

@Paul ******
and you're on a DTV? Chong Chom usually is good for people who have valid visas, (no so much for people milking free entry)

Ban Laem and Ban Pakard in Chanthaburi Province are open from 9AM <- that's where the services from Pattaya and Bangkok bounce their people at

I don't pay any attention to the one at Aranyaprathet/Poipet as it's an armpit of a border I wouldn't recommend EVER

Chong Chom / O Smach isn't bad though (as it's a slow border for foreigners)

same in the 3 international crossings in Sakaeo

Here's Ban Laem Sunday at 9, as they opened the gate on the cambodian side

They're still operating on restricted hours for now, and they are further cracking down on visa exempt entries specificaly from Cambodia, by air and land. I'd avoid Cambodian borders for now unless you can find a border run company to take you.

There is no crackdown. Took me 25 minutes to leave Cambodia and enter Thailand on visa exempt. Out of a group of 60 only an Indian person with a tourist visa was questioned for like 5 minutes.
