Hello!
I have married a Thai woman in Sweden.
Going to visit her in Thailand in January on a non-e spouse visa. When extending the visa to one year, our marriage must be registered locally at her nearest Amphur in order for me to get the one year extension.?
TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your non-O spouse visa to one year in Thailand, you must register your marriage, which involves legalizing your Swedish marriage certificate through a series of steps: legalizing it in Sweden, getting a Thai translation, and having it legalized at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additional documents required include a copy of your wife’s Tabien Baan, your passport with entry stamp, and your wife's Thai ID. Complying with financial requirements and registering a TM30 form is also necessary for visa extension purposes.
