i just moved to Amnat Charoen province and i checked with immigration office in the city Amnat and officer told me to go to Laos accross Mukdahan to savanhaket and get my 90 days O visa at this embassy and come back to Amnat Charoen city office after 6 weeks to have my extension. I stay in Chanuman. Hope this can help, i will do this in a few weeks.

is it better to go Savannaket than inside Thailand for a non O visa request ?

Are you on your first year or did you go out the country before the end of the first year and got the other free year?
