How can I successfully obtain a Non-O Visa in Savannakhet, Laos?
Just got my non O visa in Savannakhet, easy to go with the right papers from the bank ( update book statement and letter ) and landlord ( residency certificate and photocopy of the landlord Id signes on the sheet ). Went there at 8:30 morning (open at 9) waited in line 2 hours and the next afternoon got my passport back with my new visa. Thanks for all your good advices Tod and others.

I cannot fathom why they would ask for a residency certificate for a retirement visa issued outside Thailand since conceivably you might have never even been to Thailand.
Also, what does retiring have to do with renting an apartment long term? Do they think that retirement = stay in one place and wait to die?
